Been off-line for a while, I haven't written much the last few weeks. This winter has been moving by fast!

A little snow to remind us what season it is, with Mother Nature lending a hand a pruning some of our trees.

Minivan Revelations

Our annual New Year's trip to New York and Connecticut was made more enjoyable this year when we decided to rent a minivan for the drive up. We suddenly had plenty of room for everything, and driving 'above' the traffic in bigger, softer seats was a guilty pleasure.


So, at an age when I should be lusting after a red convertible (and a co-ed or two), all I want is a shiny, new Honda Odyssey!

I am not sure what I am doing, but here is some more video. This one, my father-in-law practicing his guitar in our kitchen, was a quickie made with my Canon A520 digital still camera; I find I like this format - straight to flash disk, drag and drop to desktop - more than DV. Quality is decent for the web and much quicker to use.
