Just picked up this book,
Mark Romanek - music video stills.
It's a great look at the imaging ideas that go into today's video landscape. The stills allow you to see how these things are pieced together, a helpful thing for anyone contemplating a move from still photography to video work. Too bad there is no DVD!

Interesting article. Does anyone remember Jamie Levy and Billy Idol's 'Cyberpunk'?

As a visual artist, I don't quite know what to make of the wireless Internet.

Japan's i-mode is the first really cool thing since Mosaic. I really like the concept of web pages (i.e. html) on cell phones; complete with pics and movies, that "regular" people can put together without venture capital or corporate sponsorship (wap).

But what is going to happen to all my beautiful photographs?
As this new media keeps evolving, my art work seems to keep getting smaller and smaller.
