Tonight

All I can hear now, at about 11:50 p.m. in Northern Virginia, is the sound, every few minutes, of military planes overhead.

What a day

Was driving past the Pentagon on my way to work this a.m. just about the time the jet slammed in...saw the smoke and took off after the rescue vehicles in order to get in position for a scene picture, all the while listening to the radio and the devistation being reported in NY. Didn't think it was yet ANOTHER plane....
Headed in to D.C. as they locked it down...I never made it to the office...I turned around and headed back to Virginia to get my kids and track down my staff. I found one in the metro at the Pentagon, scared and trying to walk home, another stuck in grid-lock near the White House.

My wife and I are shell-shocked tonight and hugging our kids....Everyone should pray and do the same to someone they love.

Intoxication

Can a person be intoxicating like a drug? Can their aura, scent, chemistry be so strong that it makes you physically high and takes several days to wear off?
